The Ball State University Foundation is seeking a dedicated person to play a key role in the University Foundation and Athletics Department managing a portfolio of lead annual giving athletic donors and directing the Cardinal Varsity Club to advance initiatives in the areas of scholarships, capital projects, student-athlete development, and endowments.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Three years of demonstrated experience in fundraising. Knowledge and extensive experience in all aspects of fundraising and donor or customer relations in a university, foundation, or corporate environment. Willingness and ability to travel; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.

 

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

 

Preferred Qualifications: At least three years of athletics specific fundraising; experience managing an annual giving program; experience with board and volunteer management. Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, NXT, Fundraiser Performance Management. Understanding of the unique nature of athletics fundraising. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships across campus and with donors and volunteers.
