| Materials Clerk, Kohler Original Recipe Chocolate Work Mode: Onsite Location: Kohler, WI Opportunity Our team at KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates offers the finest handcrafted chocolates, from the original buttery Terrapins to the light and beautiful Rare Facets. Specific responsibilities for our Materials Clerk include: - Oversee the inventory control processes, define and manage inventory levels and proactively place orders accordingly to manage on hand product or supplies
- Investigate reasons for any discrepancies in counts and report on resolution and reconciliation
- Conduct routine analysis on inventory costs, counts, production expenses and create reports for leadership
- Become a subject matter expert for all systems utilized by KORC (Monkey, Big Commerce, Dollars on the Net, etc.)
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to create nutritional labels for all products; Work with leadership to ensure all labels are up to date and meet FDA regulations
- Ensure facility compliance with all relevant FDA and regulatory guidelines for food manufacturing
- Work directly with vendors and act as primary liaison for management of needs and expectations
- Assist with the budget management for supply orders, efficient labor management, and associated production costs
- Be a Brand Ambassador for the KORC business
This is a full-time position with shifts on weekdays & weekends varying between 10 am and 6 pm. Skills/Requirements - Associates Degree required
- 3-5 years of production, operational, and administrative management experience
- 2+ years experience in Materials Management or Inventory Control
- Proficient math skills
- Previous purchasing or vendor relation experience strongly preferred
- Must be able to learn and understand computer concepts
- The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift and to lift up to 50 pounds as well as the ability to reach, lift, squat, kneel and bend with or without minimal accommodations
