How you’ll make a difference:

As the Team Services (Human Resources) Manager for our Charlottesville Production Facility, you’ll play a vital role in standing for our company character, championing team member engagement, and elevating organizational performance. You’ll be a business partner for the site and key business area leadership as you work together to elevate the team to another level of scale, sophistication, and excellence. A few ways you’ll support leaders and team members:

  • Partnering with managers to build and develop happy, healthy, and high-performance teams
  • Providing guidance and support to team members to help them reach their highest potential
  • Supporting leaders in employee relations, performance management, hiring, and training to help take us to the next level
  • Responding to team member survey feedback to ensure Inkers have a WOW! experience and to help make our company even stronger

What you’ll do:

As a business partner responsible for the Charlottesville Production Facility as well as a key area of our business, you’ll work directly with Inkers, support people managers, and drive various programs and initiatives.  You will proactively seek to understand Inkers’ needs, offer solutions, respond to inquiries, and seek to further your own knowledge to further our innovative approach to team health. Your many hats will include:

  • Being the primary Team Development (HR) point of contact for team member needs
  • Establishing best practices and collaborating with other Custom Ink sites and leaders to leverage learnings and deliver results at scale
  • On-board and accelerate the inclusion of new Inkers
  • Provide career coaching and guidance to team members to ensure Custom Ink is a place to nurture their career
  • Deliver information sessions and facilitate training programs
  • Support and facilitate Inker programs such as performance management, total rewards education, benefits enrollment, and talent reviews
  • Manage safety programs and education for our Charlottesville team
  • Work with Recruiting to identify the very best new talent for your location

What we’re looking for:

  • Diverse and progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • HR experience in operational/manufacturing environment (or high aptitude to quickly learn the HR body of knowledge)
  • High EQ & strong desire to help people
  • Demonstrated ability & credibility to coach leaders and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate hands-on team member interaction and delivery with big picture project-based work that drives strategy and high performance across a growing company
  • Experience delivering and facilitating training
  • A successful track record of managing employee programs, projects, and initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural desire to help people
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
  • A drive to exceed expectations and constantly learn
