Full-Time Director, Strategic Sales & Partnerships

Job Description

PURPOSE 
S’well partners with best-in-class global industry leaders to support sustainability initiatives with style, innovation and storytelling across hydration and other product categories.  We have strategically worked with co-branded partners such as Starbucks, General-Mills, Anheuser-Busch, Roller Rabbit, Soul Cycle and Causebox to name a few, and are looking for a Director of Strategic Sales & Partnerships to help us scale even further. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, vetting, on-boarding and managing new and existing partners to help us build an ongoing portfolio of growth and annuity partnership business year over year.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Build, nurture and grow existing client base while also prospecting and on-boarding new partners
    • Work closely with the SVP Sales to create a domestic strategy for partnerships
    • Work with internal teams to commercialize each venture, including but not limited to coordination of product portfolio and design, production timelines, packaging, marketing materials and other partnership needs involved with go-to-market launch
    • Evaluate potential collaborations and partnerships based on potential customer growth, brand elevation, and revenue generation
    • Work cross functionally to oversee inbound and current partnership requests, contracts, budgets
    • Oversee communication strategy across high profile accounts, effectively managing relationship  from lead to sale and beyond
    • Optimize channel growth by tracking towards forecast, partnering with finance to determine margin analyses for various partner opportunities
    • Collaborate with teams on product assortment, seasonal buys on new partnership opportunities
    • Create and implement scalable sales partnership processes for long sustained success
    • Conduct regular business reviews with key internal stakeholders, aggregating feedback to ensure sales and company goals are being met

WHO YOU ARE

    • 7+ years of previous sales management experience, preferably in consumer goods/retail or similar industries
    • Demonstrated experience driving, executing and operationalizing business sales plan
    • Prior experience in prospecting and pitching among high-level individuals in the CPG, Tech, Finance, Hospitality industries
    • An entrepreneurial spirit with a positive can-do attitude
    • Ability to work cross functionally across the organization and comfortable navigating a fast paced startup environment
    • Prioritize and approach assignments with focus and sense of urgency
    • Takes initiative, is solution oriented and follows through to ensure timelines are met
    • Bachelor’s Degree
