Assistant Lecturer of Information Systems and Operations Management

The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at Ball State University has a full-time contract faculty position available January 2022 for the academic year. Primary responsibilities focus on teaching undergraduate business analytics (BA) and/or logistics and supply chain management (LSCM) courses which may be delivered on campus or online, synchronously and asynchronously. Normal teaching load is twelve (12) credit hours each fall and spring semester with opportunity to participate in our department and LSCM center activities.

Minimum Qualifications: MBA or Master’s degree in business analytics, logistics and supply chain management, or closely related areas from an accredited institution by date of appointment; at least five years of work experience in an area related to business analytics or logistics and supply chain management fields.

 

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of effective and innovative teaching at the university level, and experience with on-line teaching. Managerial experience in the areas of logistics and supply chain management.
