Job Description

Summary: 

The Diversity Recruiter acts as the primary support within Weber’s Corporate and Manufacturing recruitment teams; with a focus in attracting talent from underrepresented minorities and implementing diversity sourcing strategies & partnerships.  This role will directly support the Talent Acquisitions partners in sourcing and screening candidates to support Weber’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion focus. In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team, this individual will contribute to the development of Weber’s employment brand and will be responsible for ongoing metrics and measurement to continuously evaluate the effectiveness and success of the talent acquisition function. This is a newly created position within the corporate HR team, ideal for a dynamic self-starter with an eye for talent, a drive for results, and a passion for creating a high performing talent acquisition function.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source, network and screen candidates of minority populations to supports Weber’s DE&I focus
  • Build talent pools and keep candidate statuses up to date to maintain an active pipeline
  • Attend diversity-focused conferences, events, and meetings to identify high potential candidates
  • Lead and Grow Weber’s community engagement efforts
  • Manage Diversity Job Board partnerships and measure ROI
  • Partner with TA Partners throughout all pre-hire activities, ensuring a seamless interview scheduling and onsite/offsite interview process.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with recruiters and hiring managers, supporting and providing recruiting solutions and consult on their talent needs
  • Act as a liaison with our Sr. Director DE&I to deliver training materials to hiring managers
  • Create approaches that look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find and engage the best talent in the market
  • Advise clients and leadership team on market trends and competitive intelligence, and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent
  • Represent the Talent Acquisition efforts on Weber’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council
  • Responsible for maintaining talent acquisition Diversity metrics and measurement on a monthly basis, compiling organized and clear status reports for HR leadership and team review.
  • Collaborates with HR team on all employment brand initiatives.
  • Leads various Talent Acquisition continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Acts as a culture champion, helping to build upon our existing culture and create an engaging talent attraction experience for all potential candidates.

How to Apply

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition required
    • 3 years focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion sourcing and recruitment
  • Proven DE&I project management experience
  • Experience using specialist sourcing techniques (i.e. Boolean searching) to identify candidates through active and passive channels.
  • Proven success in utilizing social networking sites to successfully source candidates
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple open requisitions
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work well under pressure and in challenging situations
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • A team-first focus with a can-do attitude and willingness to engage and help with any and all HR initiatives
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Success Factors Recruiting, LinkedIn Recruiter
