Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented System Performance Technical Specialist (Catalyst) to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Engine Business in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Supporting multiple VPI programs by providing robust feature (performance and diagnostic) tuning calibrations and appropriate documentation to demonstrate compliance to applicable ESWs / technical profiles / related DVP&R task
• Spending majority of time tuning and validating features on program specific hardware / software in test cell / vehicle environment within the program milestones.
• Furthermore, it is expected to utilize Matlab/Simulink based tools to analyze data and develop calibration content as well as to provide clear and detailed presentations to Manager, Subject Matter Experts and Project Leads.
• This posted position will not have direct reports but is expected to help guide peers through processes within expertise.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Experience using Matlab/Simulink are required for this position.
• Test Cell and Vehicle testing knowledge is preferred.
• Boost Catalyst Model Package experience good
• Test Cell, Field Test and Controls work experience preferred
• Catalyst experience a must
• Simulation based work experience is beneficial
• Minimum Bachelors in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years work experience
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
