About the Role
The Medici Groups seeks a Marketing Associate to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating a world where we use our differences to change it. The incoming Marketing Associate will be joining a company that is shifting away from our consulting roots to a startup with capabilities in technology, data science, and AI to scale our diversity- and inclusion- driven approach for our customers, across their organization.
As a member of our Growth Team, the Marketing Associate will play a key role in our customer acquisition and retention strategies, collaborating closely with sales, customer success, and product teams. Strong candidates should have experience creating content in multiple formats (copy, graphic, video, etc.) for multiple channels, including for social media, for customers, and for sales enablement. Given this, we require excellent writing skills, creative design skills and experience managing and leveraging social media.

Responsibilities:
- Manage social media and content to drive brand awareness across multiple channels
- Monitor media coverage, and leverage high impact items across marketing channels
- Help identify market trends and key opportunities to innovate existing marketing and sales collateral
- Manage community of online supporters
- Contribute to the development of collateral and other sales enablement tools
- Support sales with initial research on prospective customers
- Work effectively with other teams, e.g., Customer Success, Product, HR, to drive marketing-related initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years experience in marketing or related field
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills and attention to detail
- Strong creative lens and demonstrated experience in creating on-brand assets and materials (portfolio recommended)
