Job Description

MarshBerry is currently seeking an Experiential Marketing Manager for our Beachwood, OH office or other MarshBerry office location.

Integral part of a team specializing in experiential marketing initiatives including events, client engagements, communications, and other marketing extensions.  This position will deliver creative solutions that foster lasting relationships with clients and prospects by developing programs and implementing cutting edge ideas that reflect our firm’s innovative spirit.

The Experiential Marketing Manager will bring creative thought partnership and a passion for delivering unparalleled experiences for clients and prospects through integrated marketing and event execution. Join our Experience and Engagement team and help us reimagine traditional events and drive innovative experiences and programs end-to-end.  The Experiential Marketing Manager will oversee the development and execution of a portfolio of marquee prospect, client and internal events.  These events will be designed to create opportunities where people can come together (virtually/in-person/hybrid) to engage in conversations and interact with knowledgeable professionals that serve as trusted advisors in the Insurance Brokerage industry.

This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. A creative problem solver who can support and execute strong experiential concepts and activations that build brand affinity and achieve business objectives while tracking budgets and results.

Responsibilities:

Event Management:

  • Support the conceptualization and execution of client and prospect experiential programs including large-scale conferences, symposiums, member events and custom client experiences.
  • Manage event production elements including P&L development and detailed budget tracking, production schedules and timelines, venue and/or digital platform management, on-site/virtual branding elements, talent booking/prep, guest engagement and sponsor activations.
  • Work closely with graphic designers on the production of creative elements (event RSVP page, invitations, ads, email blasts/newsletters, video, social media creative) and manage all deliverables.
  • Research industry standards, trends, event concepts (both virtual and in-person), and monitor competitive brands to ensure firm remains innovative within the industry.
  • Manage all event planning estimates for project scope, venue sourcing, third-party partners, scheduling and resource requirements.

General Marketing:

  • Develop creative ideas for experiences based on marketing strategy, messaging, and program objectives.
  • Serve as primary lead on orchestrating comprehensive cross-functional project and communication plans.
  • Partner with internal team members on creative, content and technical requirements to deliver the highest quality experiences and ensure a clear and consistent narrative and amplification for each program that drives awareness and engagement.
  • Write conceptual content, drive presentation development and coordinate development of collateral materials and communications pre/during/post events and any ongoing member communications.
  • Remain a student of client industry, general marketing, experiential trends, advancements for in-person and virtual delivery of experiences.
  • Function as a thought leader with knowledge of various aspects of experiential marketing including leading edge techniques to engage clients and prospects and deliver effective marketing and communication tactics.
  • Serve as marketing manager for sales support materials and client communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience working on high profile national event planning and logistics management.
  • Creative problem solver, adept at overcoming challenges, calm under pressure and maintains a sense of resolve with the appropriate level of optimism and realism.
  • Thrives on bringing a vision to life through thematic communications and experiential design.
  • Self-starter with excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple projects at once paying close attention to timelines and details.
  • A love for culture, exploring new ways of doing things and being a brand advocate.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Recent knowledge of the growing technology landscape to support hybrid and virtual events.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to author and design presentations.
