DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Test Technology Technical Specialist- NVH to join our team for our Engine Business Segment in Charleston, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• This laboratory test focused position designs or specifies test systems that allow operation of Cummins’ products in a laboratory environment for engineering evaluation to optimize our product designs.
• Manage and perform the applied mechanics work at CTCC including vibration, strain, force, and acceleration measurements and data processing
• Enables Test Operations to meet critical internal product development needs of unregulated species, data quality, and throughput
• Perform troubleshooting of measurement equipment and instrumentation, methods and software
• Support test cell calibration process improvements
• Follows established processes and documentation
• Analyzes data to ensure data quality
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering Technology is required
• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience that includes a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making
• Previous experience with NVH
• Prior experience with project management and/or process improvement
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
