Job Description

Kessel Run is looking for a Talent Operations Manager to support the organization’s growing Talent Acquisitions and Talent Management needs. We are looking for someone who has experience in Tech Talent Acquisitions, as well as someone who is a quick learner, proactive, and a great communicator. What you will do 

  • Plans, organizes, and directs the Talent Acquisitions needs of Kessel Run, ensuring that human resources functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet internal team and external candidate and recruiting needs.
  • Responsible for Greenhouse ATS management, training and data hygiene
  • Develops and recommends Talent Management policies and guidance for Kessel Run, with a focus on a community of feedback, enhancing culture and Diversity & Inclusion. Performs continuous appraisal of the utilization of Talent Management tools in accomplishing mission objectives and goals.
  • Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies effective Talent Acquisitions and Talent Management processes, procedures, and policies to keep our Federal workforce current with the commercial Tech industry.
  • Provides management advisory service on a continuing and as-needed basis.
  • Represents Kessel Run at a variety of local and abroad Department of Defense organizations.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with all levels of internal management, media and communications team, and human resources personnel.
  • Serves as the expert in Talent Management policies, programs, and processes and their application to complex situations encountered.

Who you are

  • You are a quick learner.
  • You are comfortable with a fast-paced office environment.
  • Fluent in G-Suite and Greenhouse ATS
  • You have the ability to multi-task and are proactive.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, and can provide customer service to Kessel Run’s workforce.
  • Knowledge or past experience with Federal HR and/or military is a plus but not required
  • Specialized experience: includes two years of experience recommending and implementing guidance in human resources management such as effective workforce recruitment or conducting human resource management studies and organizational analyses.
  • You are a U.S. citizen and are eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (see eligibility requirements here)

This is a Federal civilian service position within the United States Air Force. We are hiring at the equivalent of a GS-12 up to GS-13 level for this position. This means you can expect a base salary of $66,829 to $103,309 multiplied by your locality rate, based on your experience. You can find your locality definition here and see the pay tables for the GS scale here. Our headquarters is located in Boston, MA; for a Boston-based employee, this would translate to a range from $86,283 to $133,382.
