Full-Time Product Planner

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Aftermarket Product Planner to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Corporate/CBS Segment in IN, Columbus and/or your remote home office. You will support development of product plans for new product lines within a respective range of products. Will also work with the global remanufacturing plants to develop project tracking and priority for remanufactured product releases

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

 

Developing a process to evaluate the reman portfolio to determine when/if it makes sense to outsource remanufacturing.

 

Utilize macro, market, or technology trends, as inputs into product plans. Collaborates with Market Segment teams and Account Managers utilizing Human-centered Design (HCD) principles to understand requirements and develop customer-led product plans.

 

Determine the strengths and weaknesses of the current product by evaluating market effectiveness (including customers and competitors).

 

Provide input to product road map in support of a specific market segment. Supports Synchronized Business Planning (SBP) Product Review process as the owner of specific projects within the Master Project List (MPL).

 

Develop business case and leads Pre-program Planning (PPP) for specific smaller-scale opportunities within the portfolio.

 

Develop value proposition for new products and articulates appropriate position within the portfolio.

 

Participate in Product Planning Functional Excellence and best practice sharing within the business.

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

 

3 – 5 years of experience in Project Management, prior stakeholder engagement preferred

 

Experience supporting cross-functional and/or cross-business unit alignment

 

Strategic thinking, multi-tasker, detail oriented, ability to influence

 

Bachelor’s Degree required

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
