DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a talented Catalyst Performance Integration Technical Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Components business unit in Columbus, IN.

 

This position is temporarily remote and will require you to relocate at a later date.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* This position is in Catalyst Performance and Integration Team in CES. CPI Team is responsible for catalyst technology selection, sizing and validation for VPI programs, along with supporting cPPT, Technology Integration and Current Product catalyst work.

* Lead catalyst related activities to define clear requirements and provide recommendations for catalyst technologies and sizes for upcoming VPI programs.

* Lead complex catalyst system issues with a cross functional team and drive them to closure.

* Lead CMI and non CMI customer interactions on catalyst performance and integration topics.

* Work with catalyst coating and substrate suppliers for next generation catalyst development.

* Work with Catalyst, Performance and Integration SMEs to assess aftertreatment architectures for future programs via Modeling and Analysis Led Design.

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Previous Engine and Aftertreatment performance experience is desirable.

* Strong communication skills and project management skills are required.

* Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.

* Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
