Your team
In our Scaling team, an interdisciplinary mix of sales, marketing, content, PR and community experts work on the growth of Steady. Over 100,000 people already support over 1,000 projects in 6 European markets on Steady – and we’re working to get many more journalists, podcasters, video producers, artists and other publishers funding their work through memberships and changing the landscape of independent media for good.
Tasks
- You evaluate the potential of new projects on Steady and advise them on their membership strategy.
- You will help us maintain excellent relationships with our existing creators and publications (some of the most exciting media projects in the German-speaking world).
- You will help our product team to better understand the needs and feedback of our clients.
- Together with your colleagues in the scaling team, you maintain our publisher community and network media makers who should definitely get to know each other.
- Depending on the topics you are particularly interested in and the skillset you bring with you, there is nothing to stop you from working on other strategic projects in the company.
Your Profile
- You are studying communication sciences, marketing, journalism or a comparable course of study.
- You are passionate about an independent and diverse media landscape and you want to enable publishers to do great work.
- You are a native speaker of German and can communicate fluently in English with colleagues and clients – any other language is a plus.
- You have an affinity for social media (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok, etc.) and follow trends in a constantly changing media landscape with great interest.
- You are empathetic, likeable and open – it is easy for you to approach people and listen to them in a detail-oriented manner.
- You can be a working student or freelancer
- 20 hours/week, which you can organise yourself
