Full-Time Sr. Operations Manager

HealthFirst’s success is driven by our team of uniquely capable people whose similarities and differences make us who we are. We are currently looking for a Sr. Operations Manager who will continue to build upon our success leveraging their strong leadership, customer focus and ingenuity.

The Sr. Operations Manager directs the staff responsible for ensuring correct product set-up (regulatory compliance, pricing, and internal information for customer satisfaction) and accurate order fulfillment (general production and aviation) and DSCSA serialization.  Establishes productivity goals/metrics and ensures goals are achieved and manages the continued development of operations and production processes. The Sr. Operations Manager works closely with senior management team to develop viable solutions needed and to create efficiencies and ensures appropriate staff development, manages performance reviews, and handles related employee issues.

Additional responsibilities include:

•    Leads the production processes to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines, and all team members are meeting the turnaround times communicated to the customer.  Identifies and drives improvements and efficiencies in process and procedures throughout the operation.  Provides assistance with daily responsibilities as needed, answering questions and offering direction and coaching on a particular issue.

•    Oversees procurement and sourcing to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines and to ensure that sourcing, procurement, cost reduction and quality initiatives are being met.

•    Supports the marketing team on new product development and launch. Interacts with various internal departments regarding production-related issues. Meets on regular basis with senior management to prioritize projects and set direction for team in conjunction with other company initiatives.

•    Creates, reviews, and distributes departmental reports so accountability, productivity, and communication are clearly documented for customer satisfaction.

•    Performs other duties and special projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

•    15+ years supervisory experience in Operations, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Distribution Centers or the equivalent required.

•    Proven leadership experience and a track record of building and developing highly effective teams

•    Experience streamlining processes and creating operational efficiencies

•    Multi-site operation experience a plus

•    Working knowledge of GMP

•    Experience overseeing a purchasing, procurement and/or supply chain function

•    Proficient ERP software skills preferred

•    High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

•    The desire to lead the team as well as be a part of the team.
