Director of One Data Job Summary:  The Director of One Data (DOD) has oversight and responsibility for driving successful adoption and clinical process optimization of clinical information systems.  The DOD is responsible for applying tools and techniques for the acquisition and transformation of raw data into meaningful and useful information for business analysis purposes.  The DOD will work independently to document external data acquisition policies and procedures as well as interface with other clinical and business units to define and document data needs and ad-hoc analysis requirements.  Responsible for designing and implementing data analysis strategies for structured and unstructured clinical data sets using predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical methods.  Responsible for establishing clinical measures that comply with appropriate National Quality Forum and other designated standards.  This role will focus on clinical quality, evidence-based medicine and clinical standardization, understanding quality and clinical utilization at a client, provider and system’s level.  The DOD will collaborate with clinical leaders in developing and implementing clinical guidelines for screening, diagnosis and treatment.  The DOD will excel at using data and visualizations to tell insightful stories that will guide decision making around clinical and operational opportunities and areas for improvement and in standardizing reporting.

The Director of One Data drives the efficient operations within a line of business and will partner with the Program, Financial and MIS Departments serving as a point-of-contact and managing data integrity, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement, Business Intelligence and reporting opportunities.  The position is responsible for providing information regarding the global analysis, design and transformation of business workflows and processes for Integral Care in order to ensure data integrity and usability.  The position will research, plan, and where appropriate, convert business requirements to automated processes.  The position will propose improvements or make recommendations on best practices that could be implemented, thoroughly document, monitor, or revise current business processes and work flows, with an objective of improving quality of report capability to the business customer, thereby enabling rapid response to a changing consumer, market and regulatory demands.

The position will work closely with program staff, financial staff, managed care staff, communications staff and other staff as appropriate to ensure appropriate reporting and support is available and accurate.

The Director of One Data performs highly advanced (senior-level) managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning.  Work involves establishing strategic plan for the department including appropriate goals and objectives, developing policies and procedures, reviewing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations, establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools for determining progress in meeting goals; coordinating and evaluating management activities; and reviewing and approving budgets.  Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others.  Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.

Director of One Data Education:

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a BA, BS degree

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree

Director of One Data License: 

Required:

  • Current and valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Director of One Data Experience:

Required: 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience

Preferred:

  • 3 years’ experience in behavioral health or healthcare analytics.

Hours:  Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary:  $113,022 annually.
