Full-Time Wires Operations Specialist
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintenance of corporate customers in the Finastra PayPlus wire system and Business Online Banking platform, perform QC for set ups completed by others.
- Handle internal and external customer questions as they arise, perform research and investigations.
- Verify transactions entered by operations processors.
- Perform morning system maintenance process which includes but not limited to:
- Review phone recording system, SWEEP/Standing wires and ensuring the OFAC hotlist is up to date
- Manage the claims process for Reg E and Dodd Frank regulated consumer remittances.
- Monitor correspondent accounts and related G/L’s to ensure proper funding of daily processing.
- Assist with projects and system upgrades.
- Assist management with compliance and audit functions.
- Assist in the cross training of new and existing staff.
- Review daily end of day reports to ensure proper processing and reconciliation between multiple systems including the Federal Reserve, Finastra PayPlus system, FIS deposit system and G/L system.
- Perform other functions and duties as required.
Qualifications:
- The candidate should possess strong communication and organization skills as well as strong customer service skills and knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Attention to detail is essential as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Display proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- They must be able to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
- Banking or finance experience particularly in a payment’s role
Work Requirements:
8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday or 8:30 – 5:00pm dependent on schedule. There is potential of overtime on occasion.
