The Web Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for implementing website merchandising for US and international sales on the LWT shopping cart site, powered by Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, including product set up, product categorization, promotion & campaign set up, merchandising optimization, and daily troubleshooting. The Web Merchandising Coordinator will be also responsible for managing and publishing content using the Drupal 9 content management system (CMS), executing mobile and desktop site merchandising strategies intended to drive engagement, traffic, and revenue.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage the end-to-end setup of all LWT products for all websites, including product imagery, attributes, pricing, markdowns, filters, tags, promotional pricing, and copy.
- Strategically merchandise all product areas of the websites, including product display order, features, web categorization and navigation to support key product investments.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Workshop teams to assist in developing compelling merchandising themes and storytelling for professional learning.
- Set up and schedule homepage updates, new content pages, promotions, and features to be aligned with the marketing calendar.
- Conduct quality assurance of homepages, links, and redirects.
- Examine site daily/weekly to ensure products placement, link functionality, etc., and test new features and functionality as needed.
- Monitor website performance utilizing KPI reports and identify areas for improvement across the site and traffic sources, identifying risks to current sales target and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate with agency partners or internal team members to implement SEO best practices to increase rankings in search engine results.
- Collaborate with IT, Marketing, and Operations on internal search engines (marketing search and shopping search) tagging to ensure products are findable via ISBN, SKU, and other internal identifiers.
- Coordinate content delivery to help organic search results to rank for non-branded keywords.
- Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate merchandise, promotions, features, and product presentation to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with market research and salesforce teams in deploying personalization to the site
- Collaborate with Marketing team on setting up goals in Acquia personalization related to ecommerce and QA testing
Your Experience & Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. in Marketing or related field or significant work experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Magento2 or similar eCommerce platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
- Experience working with CRM software such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar solutions.
- Technical aptitude with web-based tools and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Experience using Google Analytics, A/B testing software such as Optimizely and Google Optimize, and personalization software
- Experience setting up shopping feeds for Google Shopper and Facebook shopping,
- Ability to interpret and communicate performance metrics
- Basic html/javascript knowledge preferred
- Basic SEO knowledge and ability to work with SEO monitoring tools and/or reports such as SEM Rush, Google Search Console, etc.
- Understanding of best practices of testing, optimization, and drivers of online conversion
- Strong problem solving/analysis skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects while completing quality work on a timely basis within frequent, tight, deadlines
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and XML
- Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite) preferred
