Full-Time Web Application Support/Developer (IT Professional IV) (Remote Available) [24-month Project]
Job Description
Job Summary
This position is within the Information Technology department and will be responsible and accountable for the administration, maintenance, and support of county managed web sites, applications, and infrastructure. Key job responsibilities will include administering and supporting content management systems and architecture, acting as a technical liaison within enterprise project teams, enhancing and supporting new and existing web-facing applications; interacting with users to understand and document functional and technical requirements; support for other county applications as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science or a related field or any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
Five years of progressive responsibility in a professional or technical discipline with preferably at least two years of the five in a project management capacity.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with several of the following:
- Developing and supporting web sites, web services, and applications
- Experience in several programming/technologies: NET, C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio, .Net Framework, MVC, PHP, Drupal, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, AJAX, XML, CSS, Bootstrap, TFS, and GIT
- Desktop application development experience
- Experience supporting applications on Windows Server
- Familiarity in OWASP and NIST security protocols a plus
- Experience in SDLC process and application documentation
- UI development, design principles, and responsive web design
- Experience supporting SaaS and PaaS solutions a plus
- Relational database design, SSRS, and SQL Server administration experience a plus
- Basic Project Management, agile development, and ITIL background a plus
- Experience supporting an Office365 environment including Teams, SharePoint Online and productivity tools administration a plus
- Professional Certifications are desired
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and work with technical and non-technical people

Salary Grade: IT Guild.T4 ($7,217.00 – $9,470.00) per month
