Job Description
The Role…
The Senior Web Analyst will generate Digital Commerce Digital/Web Insights and Analytics with a focus on insights, Dashboards, Reporting, and Advanced analytics using data to drive business decisions and optimize Campaigns and the digital customer journey.
The Web Analyst will maximize opportunities available from data and insights using modern analytical tools and techniques whilst also supporting a Robust reporting suite to the Commercial and Product Teams
What you need to deliver…
• Perform analyses on Website/ eCommerce performance and identify opportunities for improvement in Website conversion
• Build & support reports and dashboards that enable self-service analytics on Website performance
• Work closely with the CRO Manager, Product Owners/Managers to understand problem areas and respond to ad-hoc requests to analyse the data
• Your presentation of data will help Dev Teams and Product teams make the right data-driven decisions, allowing them to self-serve and interpret data quickly, easily and accurately
• As the expert in data structure from a Web perspective you will be work with other Analysts and work towards achieving our Data Governance Standards
• Work cross functionally to understand Website performance holistically and enable senior leadership to make data-informed decisions.
• Champion an experimentation culture that influences key web initiatives.
• You will help Dev Teams and Product teams make the right data-driven decisions, allowing them to self-serve and interpret data quickly, easily and accurately
What you need to succeed…
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar web analytics role.
• You will be an advanced Google Analytics 4 user, having proven and extensive hands on experience building data layers, event tracking and complex ecommerce tracking. You will currently be in a role where you use this tool every day.
• Willing to work in a highly demanding and results-oriented team environment
• Data visualization experience, ideally using Looker/DataStudio or similar
• Logical analytical problem solver with outstanding attention to detail
• Proactive self-starter who is curious about how to get the most from our data
• Ability to confidently engage their peers and stakeholders and to work with a high degree of autonomy
• Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
