Full-Time Wealth Management Operations Analyst II (Req#1105)
Job Description
Manages the implementation of new system features by designing enhancements, developing and executing project plans, creating and executing test scenarios, writing procedures, and training staff within Eastern Wealth Management. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies, uses state-of-the-art report writing tools, works closely with Technology and outside vendors, documents and manages the resolution of technical problems.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as administrator of the trust accounting system by establishing privileges consistent with job responsibilities while ensuring separation of duties; reviewing release notes and managing system upgrades; documenting functionality flaws and working with vendor to resolve.
- Conducts annual user rights review under the direction of the Information Security Department.
- Designs process updates to comply with regulatory changes, improve efficiency, or improve client
- deliverables by combining in-depth understanding of trust account system functionality and current operating procedures. Pariticipates in design of implementation plan.
- Manages the implementation of process updates by revising procedures, training division personnel, and executing the implementation plan.
- Uses various report-writing tools to design sophisticated ad hoc reports.
PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:
The position is focused on solving problems and implementing improvements in a controlled environment. The incumbent designs solutions by combining creativity with superior analytical skills and thinking through the ramifications of the change. Because the implementation of a poor design can result in significant cost, both in dollars and reputation, the incumbent must be highly motivated and committed to quality. The position involves the constant exercise of discretion and independent judgment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
- Three years of successful experience as a business analyst with proven ability to manage projects.
- College degree required with courses in management and technology preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
- Superior PC skills with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and any trust accounting system (FISAddVantage preferred). Knowledge of Crystal and Tableau report-writing tools a plus.
