We are seeking a Warehouse – Utility/Lead, for our first shift position based in our Byhalia Factory location. The position is scheduled for first shift, 7AM – 3:30PM.

What you bring:
Minimum 1 year recent experience of as a leadership experience, as a lead or a supervisor.
Minimum 1 year recent dispatch experience
Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
Proficient in SAP- preferably in RockBiz
Strong experience with MS Office Suite: Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Word, Access, etc
Experience with safe forklift and Clamp Operations
Experience and knowledge of sound employee relations
Ability to read and understand written instructions including run sheets and Vanload sheets.
Able to effectively count and perform cycle counts.
What you will be doing:
It is the responsibility of the Warehouse Utility Operator to ensure all goods under the department’s responsibility are appropriately shipped in accordance with the schedule and customer’s needs, will assist with facilitating the inventory control process, will assist to ensure all materials under the department’s responsibility for the continuous operation of the factory are supplied (purchased) and available adequately, and will aid in the warehouse operation. The Warehouse Utility Operator will back up the Warehouse Supervisor in their absence.
Maintain accurate documentation for all inbound and outbound shipment
Accurate SAP entries as related to Inbound and Outbound Shipments.
Maintain trailer status on company property.
Responsible for assisting in training of all warehouse employees
Is the back up for the Receiving Clerk, Inventory Control Clerk, Warehouse Operator and Warehouse Supervisor in any absence.
Sets up and maintains data related to SAP, trailer boards, shift information, registration of finished materials and outbound product as necessary, ensuring accuracy of information.
Complete necessary paperwork for inbound and outbound materials
Ensures dispatcher office is run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a tidy work area.
Acts as a liaison of the company to outside vendors and carriers, ensuring a customer-minded focus and effective communication.
Effectively communicates with Forklift Operators to ensure smooth flow of product into storage, pre-load and live-load areas
Load trucks when required and accurately complete paperwork as provided by the Warehouse Supervisor
Adheres to company rules and policies.
Ensures that the area of responsibility contributes to a positive development of processes, machinery and equipment.
Works in close cooperation with production departments to ensure a successful working relationship.
Assists in offering task direction, strategic direction, training, and development of employees within area of responsibility.
Trains and monitors staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices, including new employee orientation.
Performs various inventory related duties in Absence of an Inventory Control Clerk
