Job Description

Location: Lynn, MA

The role oversees the Private Banking Division’s reporting, Salesforce integration, incentive plans, leading Network Sales, Data Analytics and administration to drive growth, collaboration, and client nurture. Responsibilities include providing strategic direction in data management, overseeing reporting and analytics for actionable insights, and fostering business development through partnership with internal and external stakeholders. This position also entails managing incentive plans, Salesforce integration, and marketing programs to support business objectives and exceptional client delivery.  Works closely with business partners within the division and external business partners including Regional Managers, Commercial, Training, Marketing, Finance, Business Banking and Retail. Develops programs to support our growth culture and foster stronger business development, an entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional client delivery.

Strategic Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve growth, profitability, and client experience objectives.
  • Recommend and implement business plans, campaigns, and initiatives aligned with divisional strategic objectives.

Sales and Service Oversight:

  • Supervise sales and service reporting, measurement, and metrics.
  • Lead Salesforce integration and provide training on CRM capabilities.
  • Oversee the Private Banking Division program reporting, measurement, and metrics.
  • Develop, oversee, and report on incentive plans.

Project Management and Financial Oversight:

  • Lead growth initiatives and ensure achievement of project deliverables.
  • Develop and oversee incentive plans and budget forecasting.
  • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and operational performance reporting.
  • Support current product pricing and development through data analysis.

Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Create tools to enhance client engagement and drive improved office interactions.
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop and market new products/solutions

Communication, Reporting, and Analysis:

  • Attend Deposit Strategy meetings with division leaders and communicate updates.
  • Analyze and report office sales and service activities to senior management.
  • Provide support and advice to regional managers on sales and training issues.
  • Make recommendations to the Head of Private Banking on strategic matters through analysis and research.
  • Develop methodologies for analyzing strategic areas of the business.
  • Prepare recommendations on plan design and budget components.
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop, implement, and market new and existing products/solutions; make product and marketing strategy modifications.
  • Communicate marketing initiatives to the Division.
  • Foster communication within the division, share results, and celebrate successes.

PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Private Banking business unit by providing critical insights and recommendations to senior management. Decision-making processes for budget planning, goal setting, incentive plan design, and sales risk management rely heavily on the analyses and recommendations provided. The role involves strategic planning participation, routine reporting, and specialized projects such as determining pricing strategies and evaluating product promotions’ success. The incumbent influences the design of incentive plans and distribution strategies and is responsible for building data infrastructure for compensation determination. Additionally, the position involves decision-making authority in various areas including junior analyst activities, reporting infrastructure design, information gathering methods, and sales credit allocation

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 5+ years of analytical experience.
  • Banking experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Excel, MS SQL, and general comfortability with data manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical skills to determine areas in need of improvement and ability to identify and implement creative solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint Skills Required
  • Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues.
  • Demonstrable experience with application of analysis and critical thinking.
  • Incumbent should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage large projects, and be self-motivated.  Sound decision-making abilities, technical proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills are a must.
