Full-Time Visiting Research Specialist
Job Description
Position Summary
This position will coordinate all maternal health training and community engagement efforts. This position contributes to the design and delivery of research projects and collaborates with researchers to develop, execute and interpret research projects. Performs complex data collection and study methods.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee training and community engagement efforts focused on improving maternal health in Illinois.
- Coordinate research project activities.
- Supervision of staff participating in related research.
- Organize training and community engagement data; assist with data analysis and contribute to writing of scientific manuscripts and/or grant proposals.
- Collect research data and synthesize findings.
- Provide oversight of IRB compliance and submit required IRB materials as needed.
- Provide data for correspondence with the funding agency including the submission of progress reports and updates on project reporting.
- Collaborate with the research team to develop outreach, implement protocols, and evaluate outcomes.
- Other related research study duties as assigned.
