Job Description
Do you want to be part of a team of talented individuals that share a common goal to bring success to the Council, its staff and Sefton’s Communities? Are you a natural creative storyteller? If so, you’re in the right place!
As the videographer at Sefton Council, your job will be to plan, shoot and edit videos that get our services noticed, and help to keep our communities informed and engaged.
You should be capable of working closely with colleagues in the Corporate Communications Team and other teams across the organisation on existing campaign concepts. You will also be able to lead on proposing new ideas. You should be comfortable working in our offices, from home, or on location.
You will be responsible for video production from concept to on-schedule delivery, and importantly, you will be given the opportunity to showcase your skills on a broad range of exciting projects.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about their work, who is able to create and edit original and engaging multimedia content for a range of used through social media, website and other channels.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a keen interest in editing, and a good understanding of the whole production process from start to finish.
