Location: Golden Hillock Road, Birmingham, B11 2QG
Salary: L14 – 18 (dependent on skills and experience), including potential relocation package
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Ark Boulton is a six-form entry secondary school in the heart of Sparkhill, Birmingham. We are dedicated to developing every aspect of our pupils, and therefore, we prioritise both our character curriculum as well as the academic.

The opportunity:
We are seeking a Vice Principal to work with our team to ensure that Ark Boulton continues to be the school of choice in the local community. You will have significant experience in rapidly improving pupil progress and attainment and a proven track record of having had impact in a secondary setting. You will also understand the importance of working hard and developing high performing teams.
You will be an outstanding teacher who can inspire others and lead by example, demonstrating high expectations at all times.
The main focus of your role will be on the academic side of school leadership, including; teaching, learning, assessment curriculum development and timetabling.
You will work closely with the leadership team to help build the commitment of all stakeholders to create a culture of constant improvement.
As a Vice Principal you will be centrally involved in the overall leadership and management of the school and will help to establish a school culture that is both rigorous and joyful. You will also have the opportunity to work closely alongside the regional Vice Principals on targeted Birmingham school improvement projects, as directed by our Regional Director Gail Peyton.
This is a great opportunity for a Vice Principal who is working towards headship or an Assistant Principal ready to step up as a Vice Principal.

- On Fridays, children finish at 2pm, giving time and space for professional development amongst staff.
