Full-Time Vice President, Product
Job Description
The Vice President, Product contributes to The Bouqs’ mission of creating a world‑class sustainable brand disrupting the global $50B floral industry by setting strategy and managing all product functions in order to support the company’s strategic vision. You will work closely with leaders cross-functionally across the organization to ensure that the development of the product roadmap is optimized to best serve customers. As the leader of the Product team, you will deliver alignment and execution across Bouqs platforms, managing dedicated product managers to ensure that all are working together to provide a seamless experience for both internal and external customers.
We’re looking for flat-out awesome people to join our rapidly growing team in Marina Del Rey, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and align multiple roadmaps across PMs as well as the broader Bouqs’ strategy to enable scalable growth
- Strategically partner with multiple GMs across their specific areas of business to maximize business growth and improve customer experience at a corporate and BU level
- Partner with engineering to plan, iterate, and deliver new products and product features
- Ensure data-driven decisions and proper opportunity investments are made
- Support multiple business units while they maximize high growth potential
- Foster a culture that thrives in continuous innovation, rapid iteration, and cross-departmental collaboration
- Direct, manage, support and motivate team on strategic and tactical operations, as well as present opportunities to individuals to take on challenging projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of experience building digital products
- 2-3 years of experience in a high growth company
- 4-5 years of experience manageing product teams
- A highly motivated individual with a track record of success in a high growth environment.
- Ability to demonstrate thought leadership by independently developing and advocating a point of view
- Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
- Confident data-driven decision maker
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong manager who develops associates to operate at their peak potential and has a passion for developing a strong product culture
- Innovative and curious with a strong learning acumen
