Finance Solutions team is part of Finance Organization and helps provide functional and BAU operational support for the Oracle Cloud ERP platform. Team provides support for General Ledger, Intercompany, Source to Pay, Project Costing, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payables, FCCS modules across PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud platforms. Team partners closely with Business Stakeholders, Finance technology and Finance users to ensure the platforms are managed effectively and provide great business value to our stakeholders. Team is looking for a dynamic professional who has a good subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP modules along with prior implementation and functional experience in the General Ledger module and can help lead various platform enhancement initiatives. Experience in Project Costing (PC) and Fixed Assets (FA) would be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead various platform enhancement projects, working closely with architecture and development teams to deliver solutions in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- This is a lead functional role with deep cross functional understandings of the application and/or Architecture.
- Leads functional analysis, gap identification and requirements definition for assigned function.
- Coordinates with other team leads to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the enterprise.
- Executes projects and initiatives in full compliance with defined processes and controls.
- Provide support for production BAU issues.
- Provide in depth cross functional expertise around the assigned function.
- Proactively anticipate potential roadblocks and take corrective action to keep the project on track. Escalate issues to project management as needed.
- Act as an Oracle Cloud ERP knowledge resource for functional teams and train team members as necessary.
- Build strong relationships and trust with our Global partners.
Qualifications
- Experience implementing Oracle Cloud Financials in a Functional role.
- In depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP modules, mainly in the area of General Ledger. Knowledge in Project Costing and Fixed Assets would be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP architecture and Oracle enterprise design
- Good understanding of Oracle GL key configurations and design like Chart of Accounts, Ledger Structure, Revaluation, Journal Workflow, Cross validation rules
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and all accounting events from these modules.
- Good understanding of the data model for these modules, to be able to write OTBI and BIP reports.
- Experience working on cross-functional team(s) in a collaborative development environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and 7 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Work experience in Financial industry is a plus
- Preferred to have a working knowledge of other Cloud modules Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivable module
BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
