Full-Time Vice President of People & Culture
Job Description
Texas Freedom Network (a 501c4 non-profit) along with our affiliated partner Texas Freedom Network Education Fund (a 501c3 non-profit) is a grassroots organization of community leaders and young Texans building an informed and effective movement for equality and social justice (tfn.org). TFN was established in 1995 and has grown to a 35+ full-time team along with dozens of part-time staff across the state. TFN & TFN Education Fund represent a combined $6 – $8 million annual budget. We also have a smaller associated state PAC.
About Role:
The new VP of People & Culture (VPPC) will serve a key role in the health and well-being of the organization. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing people-centered systems and equitable practices at the organizational level. They are a skilled manager and experienced HR/People leader with adept problem-solving skills that display their emotional intelligence. As a member of the leadership team, the VP of People & Culture will cultivate an equitable and inclusive organizational culture and people-centered practices to ensure a healthy and sustainable organization.
Areas of responsibilities:
- HR, Organizational Risk Management, and all People-related Oversight (~60%)
- Org Culture, Equity, and Cohesion (~35%)
- Board Liaison (~5%)
The ideal candidate will have:

- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and operational needs of 501c3 and/or 501c4 organization is required. Experience in the social justice sector is preferred.
