We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Vice President Data Scientist, II to join our Technology Services Group in the AIHUB team. This role is in Piittsburgh or Lake Mary.

As a Vice President Data Scientist, II you will be part of a centralized team that provides AI technology for the bank and supports various AI/ML use cases across different departments. You will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable intelligence using AI/ML technologies that supports our business objectives. You will collaborate with various departments to develop innovative AI/ML solutions that address our clients’ needs and improve operational efficiencies. Your expertise will be vital in shaping our AI Infrastructure and Platform strategy and ensuring we remain at the forefront of the financial industry. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • AI/ML Model Development: Design, develop and deploy advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems and drive financial innovation.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and inform decision-making process.
  • Algorithm Innovation: Implement and optimize machine learning algorithm, optimize models for GPU, ensuring they are efficient, scalable and robust.
  • Technology Proficiency: Utilize a range of AI/ML technologies and tools, such as NVIDIA AI Enterprise, TensorFlow, Pytorch, scikit-learn, and others to build robust models.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to integrate models into production systems and applications.
  • Research and Development: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute to the research and development of innovative solutions that enhance our AI capabilities.
  • Team Player: Collaborate closely with all the other members of the team to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of work experience required in data science or a related field.
  • AI/ML Application build and support in a production environment is required
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, and experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, and high performance compute environment like NVIDIA and related technologies
  • Working experience of GCP/Azure MLOps platform and services for AI/ML
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools(Gitlab CI, etc), Strong skills in Application user interface(API’s)
  • Experience in Tech SLA management and Prod critical issues monitoring, escalation and resolution.
  • Exposure in ServiceNow Portal and change management procedures.
  • Exposure on Container based development and deployment in Linux platforms.
