We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Systems Analyst to join our Regulatory Reporting Change and Support team. This role is located in Manchester, UK – HYBRID.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • A System Analysts comfortable with implementing solutions and working hands on within a project team.
  • Previous financial services experience is an advantage
  • You will create Solution Design documents, including Process definition & mapping, Data analysis, Test Scenarios.
  • You will source new data feeds from upstream providers and integrate them into our existing data model
  • Support project managers in delivery of project
  • Support the Testing Team in quality assurance of solutions & again may need to be directly involved as necessary.
  • Be directly involved in resolving urgent issues in the production environment.
  • Supports the Solutions Lead & Change Lead on ad hoc, urgent requests from senior stakeholders.
  • Develops & drives Continuous Improvement activities for the benefit of the Department.
  • Keeps their skills (technical, business & professional) current based on the changing demands of the team & projects.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow System and Business Analysts, contractors & other members of the immediate Change Team.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • Work experience as a System Analyst with previous Financial Services project experience, ideally in Regulatory Reporting covering prudential and statistical reporting (e.g., FinRep, CoRep, Liquidity reporting, AnaCredit etc).
  • Relevant work experience is a bonus,
  • Experience of delivering solutions onto Regulatory Reporting platforms, Axiom SL / Adenza preferred, but others such as WKFS an advantage.
  • Further technical skills or equivalents such as SQL, Excel Data Analysis, VB/VBA, R, Python advantageous
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Tools like Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams, Power BI
  • Familiarity with project and development tools like Jira.
