POSITION SUMMARY:
In a field environment, this position is responsible for interior and exterior cleaning of all types of fleet vehicles
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with company safe work practices and procedures to reduce hazard exposure and prevent accidents
- Clean interior of vehicles including seats, sidewalls, ceilings, dash, and driver area according to specific division procedures (TV monitor/VCR, overhead hatches, and bathrooms)
- Sweep and mop/scrub floors and empty trash receptacles
- Clean and dry windows to insure clear view
- In vehicles with restrooms, empty and refill holding tanks, sanitize lavatory area, and replenish sanitary supplies
- If applicable, inspect occupant safety restraints and safety equipment and report problems to supervisor
- In coach vehicles, clean out overhead compartments, put window shades up, and return foot rests and seats to upright position
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor
- This is a safety sensitive position
QUALIFICATIONS:

- No prior experience or training necessary
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions and deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
- Periodically lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 35 lbs. and lifting heavier objects with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to reach to shoulder height and overhead
- Fine motor coordination & the ability to operate hand tools
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and reach around vehicles to perform cleaning
- Ability to work in extreme weather of very hot or very cold
