Uplift NW is seeking a Community Resource Coordinator to identify and cultivate new strategic partnerships with social service organizations, while stewarding and strengthening existing relationships. This role’s main goal is to ensure that our partnerships with social service organizations are formalized and sustainable over time to provide our program participants with needed support. The Community Resource Coordinator will be part of the Misson Programs team and report directly to the Senior Program Manager. This role is highly individualized in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and collaboration. The Community Resource Coordinator will work closely with both our social services partners and our temporary workforce, who represent some of our most vulnerable citizens in our community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cultivate relationships with external social service organizations and community-based organizations
  • Represent Uplift Northwest at community events to promote services and engage with potential partners
  • Coordinate on-site events such as resource tabling, medical vans, etc.
  • Work with the Missions Team to develop and maintain resources to assist participants with self-sufficiency
  • Assist in the intake and enrollment process of new participants

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience assessing participants needs and connecting them to social services resources
  • Familiarity with the resources available to participants in the Puget Sound area
  • Ability to cultivate and establish partnerships across social services and community organizations
  • Previous experience working with underserved and marginalized populations
  • Working experience in the non-profit sector preferred
  • Understanding of equity and privilege
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working with individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required

Uplift Northwest offers a benefits package that includes paid vacation; holidays; sick time; parking or bus pass; health insurance (after 30 days) that includes 100% payment of medical, dental, and vision; and 403(b) retirement with matching contributions. Eligibility requirements apply and will be explained upon hiring.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $29-$34 per hour DOE. It is an on-site position in Seattle with the possibility of one day remote work per week. The expectation is that this role will spend time outside of the office, developing community relationships. Work hours are flexible within the Monday-Friday work week.
