Summary
HMRC are introducing an undergraduate intern placement scheme starting in 2020. This placement will give you a true flavour of working in HMRC, and what will be in store for you should you join the organisation. You will learn “hands-on” skills that University can’t really teach. It is a fantastic learning opportunity for you.
You’ll work in a real working environment and have a role and responsibilities from day one. You’ll gain vital skills, behaviours and knowledge and have support throughout your placement from your manager and colleagues
To be eligible for these placements you must:
• be studying towards an undergraduate degree and eligible for a ‘sandwich’ intern year or taking a gap year;
• be available to work in Nottingham or Liverpool throughout the whole period of the placement;
• be fluent in English;
Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic, fast paced individual who can work well under their own steam, however also contribute as an effective and collaborative teammate. Helping us to better target our volume recruitment campaigns at a more diverse (Social Economic Background and protected characteristics) talent pool representing the society in which HMRC operates. You will be proficient working with numbers, enjoy providing insights and comfortable with marketing evaluation to deliver statistics to shape our ongoing marketing strategies.
What we are looking for?
You’ll be studying towards a relevant Degree in Marketing, are a confident communicator, have an eye for detail and a bit of creative thinking thrown in to deliver the figures and insights in an inspiring way! In addition, be able to work at pace in a professional structured manner, demonstrating personal resilience and a hunger to learn.
