We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Training Co-ordinator within the OFSTED graded Outstanding apprenticeship department at the Bicester Construction Skills Centre, part of Abingdon and Witney College. This is a new centre and small, enthusiastic team – it is a great opportunity to be part of building a successful new venture.
You will be responsible for managing a cohort of apprentices and workplace learning students from enrolment to timely completion. You will be required to liaise regularly between employers and delivery staff and carry out effective progress reviews with learners and employers.
You will be responsible for learners working within the construction sector, although you do not need to have previous experience in construction yourself. The role will require you to keep up to date with qualification, training and skills needs within those sectors and to use this knowledge to inform innovative delivery models that genuinely meet the needs of employers. The Apprenticeship Training Co-ordinator will also support the sales staff and build effective relationships with key employers. So excellent customer service skills and good administration skills are essential.
Please note that this role is based at our Bicester campus, and travel to employer sites will be required.
In return, Abingdon & Witney College offer excellent benefits to our employees including generous pension and holiday schemes (with potential Christmas closure days), continued professional development, flexible working options, corporate gym membership, cycle/tech scheme and much more.
