Part-Time Ticket Manager
Job Description
Elmira College invites applications for a part-time Ticket Manager position. Reporting to the Murray Athletic Center Manager, the successful candidate for Ticket Manager will oversee the operations of the Elmira College Athletic Ticket Office. They will serve as the main point of contact for customer service. Responsibilities Include: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Athletics Ticket Office, to include ticket sales, student-athlete complimentary will call lists, etc. for men’s and women’s ice hockey. The candidate should possess excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal and also maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Driver’s license and HS diploma/GED is required.
Qualifications Include:
- Must have outstanding customer service and interpersonal communications skills.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use utmost discretion when privy to sensitive information.
- Unquestionable integrity and a strong sense of professional ethics when handling cash.
- Monitors and maintains integrity of cash-handling and fiscal procedures.
- Provides detailed sales and financial reports on a timely basis; maintains all ticket office records.
- Ticketing experience preferably within an athletics environment.
- Must possess good decision-making skills, solid judgment, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Ability to interact effectively with fans, parents, coaches, administrators, student-athletes and coworkers.
- Strong organizational skills.

Basis of Pay: $50 per hockey game.
