Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty in Environmental Science
Job Description
Elmira College is a private liberal arts College located in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Seeking innovative professionals from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds to fill a full-time tenure eligible teaching position in Environmental Science beginning Fall term 2024.
Teaching responsibilities will primarily be in life science fields related to environmental science such as conservation biology, wetlands ecology, or marine ecology as well as introductory service courses. Additional expectations include contributions toward student research, advising, and curricular planning within the major.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. with a concentration in Environmental Science, or a related field (biology, ecology, chemistry, geology, etc.);
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level;
- Experience in limnology, marine science, or estuarine processes is preferred.
