Full-Time Technical Systems & Operations Admin

Job Description

Premier Talent Partners is looking for a Technical Systems & Operations Admin to join our internal team. This role will be responsible for the overall administration, maintenance, and assistance with operational technologies and network infrastructure, including network efficiency and system security. The position requires hands-on administration and configuration skills and the ability to handle first-level user support/training requests, including but not limited to desktop support, mobile device management, and software updates. Premier is a 100% Mac environment, so knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting Macs is a must. Candidates must have a service-oriented mindset and a passion for learning, growth, and owning their role, working with operational technologies, and working with leadership.

This role is a hybrid-remote position with some requirements to travel, as needed. Candidates must be located in the SF Bay Area.

Responsibilities: 

Technology Administration 

  • Provide desktop support, account, and hardware setup of employees, including problem resolution for computers, phones, and other technologies
  • Setup and maintenance of meeting spaces and office facilities, including computers and accessories, phones, printers, televisions, etc.
  • Work independently – carry out multiple tasks while providing exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate all tech systems maintenance needs & repair performed by vendors and contractors
  • Administer and maintain office networks and networking equipment
  • Administer all aspects of Google Workspace, including user accounts and info, company directory, calendar resources, distribution lists, individual settings, file-sharing protocols and permissions, data backup, billing and data migration, domain DNS records.
  • Perform tech training for users
  • Create and document IT policies and procedures
  • Install and configure new hardware, software, and updates
  • Administer printers, scanners, drivers and routing protocols, configuration & security authentication
  • Maintain phone systems and any associated hardware or back-end customizations
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal personnel to facilitate technical purchases, including research and implementation of new technologies based on company needs and requirements
  • Maintain tech assets and replacement hardware across all offices as needed
  • Complete onboarding/offboarding activities, including provisioning and shipping of laptops, peripherals, and managing system access
  • Design, update and maintain company intranet, including documentation of all relevant technical and operational information
  • Configure domain DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC records along with IP and domain white/blacklisting based on security needs
  • Technical cost analysis, negotiating pricing, vetting new vendors, and fixed asset cataloging
  • Administration of all technical software and costs associated with the IT department
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and communicate solutions promptly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Operations Support 

  • Support EA to CEO with office moves as needed
  • Assist with office/facilities-related tasks (ie meet with vendors, set up furniture etc).
  • Maintain clean and organized office space from a technology hardware perspective
  • Provide support to Marketing Team for office-related tasks
  • Role-related ad hoc tasks

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year work experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with Google Workspace, MacOS, IOS
  • Reliable form of transportation
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
