Full-Time Technical Sales Engineer – Public Sector

We are looking for Post-Sale Engineer to join the Public Sector team. The Sales Engineer (SE) will work closely with the Public Sector sales team and solution consultants to provide technical & functional expertise of both existing and new customer fulfillment. The SE will be involved in late phases of the sales cycle and as opportunities close will be responsible for custom components of the solution and coordinate activities across product specialists who are needed for execution on requirements. We are looking for a creative problem solver with intense customer and market focus. The right candidate will be able to effectively communicate directly with customers, sales executives, business users, and technical architects.

What You’ll Bring:
- Hands-on experience with large datasets including but not limited public records, transaction logs, IP analysis
- 3+ years of enterprise sales engineering experience preferably supporting the public sector
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity including but not limited to firewalls, VPNS, proxies, IP masking, etc.
- Ability to aggregate disparate datasets into a common environment for analysis and to uncover insights, in support of our customer use cases
- Certified Fraud Examiner certification is a plus but not required
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance is preferred
- This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management
Impact You’ll Make:
- Support the implementation and delivery of TransUnion solutions for Public Sector customers.
- Integrate TransUnion data and customer data to drive value and uncover new opportunities
- Will be the main point of contact for all strategic accounts from a post-sales aspect and manage communications between clients and internal TransUnion teams.
- Provide feedback to the sales teams on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling existing customers
- Build internal relationships with points of contact for expert assistance.
- Evaluate RFP technical requirements to determine TU’s ability to deliver and identify technical gaps (if applicable); support the bid/no-bid decision process.
- When part of RFP team, work with other technical team members to design and respond to the technical solution
- Coordinate solution SMEs from across TU to design solutions and conduct POCs to show the value of our offerings.
