We are looking for an exceptional Technical Project Manager, Platform Development to join our team!

 

The Platform Development organization is responsible for developing an integrated platform, workflow, establish performance metrics and processes for each system within the end-to-end workflow decomposed from high level customer and application requirements.  As well as to characterize and mitigate how each system affects upstream and downstream steps to ensure a robust platform, and ultimately crafting the verification and validation strategy of that platform in support of commercialization.

 

As our Reagent and Consumables Technical Project Manager, you will drive project execution towards new chemistry formulation & process releases and consumable design & process releases, including driving the path and deliverables for all commercialization requirements for the reagent and consumable portfolio.  Candidates will benefit from a strong understanding of diagnostic equipment and lab processes. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in parallel, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

 

How You’ll Contribute

  • Own and drive design and development project deliverables associated with all new chemistry and consumable releases and protocol updates, including all deliverables needed for commercialization of reagent kits
  • Partner with other project managers for the individual components and commercial teams to scope and understand any interdependencies between reagent kit development and other components and develop the commercialization activities within R&D and tech transfer
  • Responsible to ensure project success, tracking deliverables, timeline, budget and reporting KPIs
  • Engage cross-functional teams to determine project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Execute robust communication plans across stakeholders
  • Present project plans to senior management and provide regular updates throughout the project management lifecycle to effectively manage expectations of progress against planned commitments
  • Drive quality and process continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work independently on multiple projects and effectively communicate to project stakeholders

 

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • BS or MS in Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry are most relevant.
  • 3+ Years experience in technical development, with some project management oversight
  • Preferred if the applicant has experience in molecular diagnostics, genomics technology, molecular device company or similar
  • Demonstrated skills in leading medium to large projects
  • Experience in implementing and leveraging metrics
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic work environment and shifting demands
  • Extremely strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer focus
