Role Overview
Tech Talent Partner or Senior Tech Talent Partner, responsible for London Tech hiring. We offer a very flexible perspective towards time in the office when we eventually come out of COVID restrictions and envisage the need to be 1-2 days per week.
This role reports into our Talent Lead and we are offering a significant opportunity to add value to Made Tech across all areas of TA. We encourage a growth mindset in our teams and the freedom of autonomy to help individual and company goals become a reality. Our TA team participates in a quarterly cycle, allowing them to focus in detail on specialist areas of TA i.e Employer Branding, Diversity, Technology and Recruitment Marketing.
Types of roles you will be managing include:
Engineers, (Eng2, Senior, Lead, Principal Technologist)
Delivery Management, (DM, Senior DM, Delivery Principal)
Dependent on the workload across our team, you are also likely to need to support with other specialisms as we build out our capabilities throughout the year i.e. Data, Cyber Security, Design
Academy: We run a tech academy twice a year and our TA team have ownership of the attraction and management of this process
What does the role entail?
- Delivering consistently to help us meet our ambitious hiring goals
- Understanding nuances between local markets, communities and stakeholder needs
- Managing relationships with external partners i.e. agencies, tech providers
- Working with internal stakeholders at all levels, regarding recruitment needs
- Regularly reviewing and revising the recruitment process and continuously seeking new ways to improve
- Continuously look at new channels for sourcing and advertising in order to create diverse funnels whilst also ensuring we remove as much bias from our processes as possible and create an objective interview experience for all candidates
- Maintaining close working relationships with fellow TA colleagues to share best practices and work together on non-delivery projects
- All the usual recruitment tasks, i.e interviewing, coordinating, system utilisation, negotiating, storytelling, project managing – wow, we really do a lot in Talent Acquisition! 😂

This list is by no means exhaustive; there is the opportunity to research now tools to add to our suite. Last year we used Hired and have recently transitioned to workable from recruitee.
About you
- Experience working in an inhouse talent function within a tech company going through a fast pace of growth.
- Would be amazing to find someone who has been in a company that is our size, making 20+ hires per month as a company (not a prerequisite)
- A focus on creativity and a genuine desire to look for better ways of doing things
- Great at building relationships and a gifted communicator and storyteller
- A good sourcer, someone that isn’t reliant on direct applicants to fill roles
- Data will need to underpin all decisions and be a key part of your day to day
- Analytical skills and a good depth of understanding of recruitment metrics
- A good range of experience using different technologies to drive efficiencies and reduce time to action/hire.
- You are someone that cares about the people we hire and also the ones we don’t, ensuring candidates have a great candidate experience if they are successful or not. We also work very closely with our colleagues in the people team to ensure that new starters are welcomed into the organisation and expectations are not only met but exceeded.

Salary
£45,000 – £65,000
