Team Manager – Hounslow Addiction Recovery Community (ARC)
Due to our current staff embarking on their career development journey, Phoenix Futures in Hounslow, West London, have an exciting opportunity to be part of the new management team at Hounslow ARC.
Working 9 to 5, Monday to Friday and based in an NHS site. There is ample parking and is also easily access by multiple bus and train routes. Only 2 minutes walk from Hounslow Central on the Picadilly line. This managerial role requires crucial face to face time with the people you line manage.

The Role
This post could be a great start to your management career, to assist in really developing your existing knowledge of addiction recovery.
As the Team Manager, you willl support the Service Manager in leading the team of substance misuse practitioners and HYPE (Hounslow Young People Engaged) young person workers, to provide a recovery service to the borough of Hounslow.
You will collate and prepare data from the service and compile reports and present the data to our partners and commissioners. You will have an active role in developing the strategy at the service supported by the Service Manager. You will also assist in ensuring the team are well trained and support with recruitment. You will also carry out supervision of the team.
About You
To join us as a Team Manager at Hounslow, you will need:
- A desire to work in a management position in a very busy community substance misuse service.
- 2+ years relevant experience of working in health and social care (problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field)
- Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
- To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with database management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
- Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support
