Rippleworks partners with leading industry executives to run interactive, results-driven learning programs where social venture leaders gain the critical skills they need to deliver impact at scale.

Rippleworks Investments: Rippleworks provides hard-to-find capital required for scale (grants and investments in the $1M-$3M range), and has distributed $40M+ to scaling social ventures since 2018.

The Role

The Talent Partner, Expert Network, co-leads the Rippleworks Expert Network by identifying and cultivating relationships with mission-driven executives and placing these volunteer executives into high-impact opportunities through Rippleworks initiatives. This person drives the strategy, search, and placement of opportunities by identifying, engaging, and evaluating senior leaders throughout the tech sector.

This person will also support the overall growth of the Rippleworks Expert Network community, and co-leads Rippleworks’ efforts in designing and executing a variety of activities and communications with experts to ensure ongoing engagement. The Talent Manager, Expert Network will report directly to the Managing Director, Projects.

This person will work closely with the most impactful social ventures in the world to understand how executive-level volunteer support can scale their impact. You will build personal relationships with inspiring executives across multiple industries, and identify high-leverage opportunities to put their expertise to use to help power global social impact.

Responsibilities

Deeply understand venture needs. Collaborate with the other team members to understand and evaluate the talent needs for multiple projects and translate those needs into the ideal profile of an executive to help the venture with their most immediate operational challenges to scale (see our project portfolio)

Search and selection. Identify the best experts for upcoming projects or Insights programs leveraging tools such as LinkedIn and other social media, professional networks, referrals, and internal referral sources. Connect with potential experts and build a pipeline of qualified experts for current and future opportunities.

Manage and support our growing Expert Network. Build and manage the database of executives in our Expert Network, identifying their skills, assignment status, availability, and feedback on completed projects. Evaluate the health of our Expert Network and engage qualified experts in functional areas where we have known opportunities. Regularly interact with the Expert Network in communications and activities to ensure our community remains inspired and engaged.

Requirements

About You

Recruiting: You have successful work experience in executive recruiting (ideally inhouse and search firm), or a very similar role, in which you identify and build relationships with senior level leaders. You are a great connector of people and highly skilled in quickly finding and building relationships with top-level executives and assessing their capabilities. You know how to interact with executives without them knowing they are being interviewed and assessed.

Business Insight: You are capable at assessing and understanding diverse business needs and translating them into potential expert profiles.

Interpersonal Savvy: You have strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as entrepreneurial energy to drive social impact and tackle problems that matter.

Action Oriented: You are fueled by delivering exceptional quality of work in short timelines.

Drive for Results: You thrive in energizing and mobilizing people, especially towards making a positive impact around the world and in their own lives.

Strategic Agility: You have the ability to think strategically yet you are exceptional at quickly operationalizing, owning, and executing on plans.

Values: You appreciate, model, and help shape all of Rippleworks values, including how we have fun at work.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing talent networks, recruiting executive talent, and building executive relationships

Demonstrated track record of finding, connecting, evaluating, and matching executive talent to opportunities that are mutually beneficial and create a positive impact

Strong track record of building and maintaining authentic relationships with key stakeholders

Superb organizational, time management skills, and dedication to organizing data in an efficient and user friendly manner

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with senior executives

Demonstrated passion for social impact, such as active volunteering or working in social impact.

Experience in strategic community building to engage and mobilize passionate individuals who are inspired to do good

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Authorized to work in the USA
