Status: Regular Full Time

Salary Range: $67,772-$84,714 per annum plus comprehensive benefits

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Join Our Team as a Talent Acquisition, Program Support Coordinator!

 

We’re seeking a dedicated Coordinator for our Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Program. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide essential administrative support to our talent acquisition team while managing the entire onboarding process. Your responsibilities will include recruitment and pre-boarding ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You’ll also oversee our Summer Student Program, from advertising and sourcing to selecting candidates and onboarding.

What you will do in this role: 

 

Onboarding Management:

  • Oversee the onboarding process, including communication with candidates, offer letters, employment documentation, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Maintain records in the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) and document processes through HR operating procedures.

Talent Programs Support:

  • Provide full-cycle support for talent programs, including the Summer Student Program.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to gather requirements, advertise positions, and manage the selection and onboarding process.

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to enhancing recruitment and onboarding processes based on best practices and innovative strategies.
  • Conduct research and manage social media efforts to explore new recruitment methods.

HR and Talent Acquisition Support:

  • Address queries from HR and employees promptly.
  • Provide research, data analysis, and administrative support to the talent acquisition team and assist with the applicant tracking system.

What the role requires:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role within talent acquisition, onboarding, or HR administration.
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered

Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a constantly changing environment.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with MS Project and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft reports and provide clear instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and external partners.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and process improvement.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

Nice to have: 

  • Certificate in Human Resources Management or enrollment in the program
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role within talent acquisition, onboarding, or HR administration.
  • Familiarity with process mapping and change management principles

In this role, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means you’ll have the ability to work off-site and on-site as needed, depending on operational needs at the 7120 Hurontario Street, Mississauga worksite. The frequency of on-site work may vary from week to week, depending on operational demands, which can evolve over time.

 

It’s important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that we’re compliant with all regulations and policies.
