Full-Time Swadlincote Trainee Substance Misuse Practitioner
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity at Derbyshire Recovery Partnership for someone who is passionate about beginning a career in the substance misuse sector.
This role will be based at our Swadlincote office (Rinkway Industrial Estate) working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and is a 6 month fixed term contract. During the Trainee role, there may be opportunity to apply for Substance Misuse Practitioner vacancies within the service.
As a trainee, the role will involve developing the skill set, knowledge and competencies to become a Substance Misuse Practitioner, via a mixture of training, coaching and practice-based learning. The role is based in a busy community drug and alcohol service. It will involve developing the skills to offer a range of harm reduction interventions, assessment, risk management and recovery focussed interventions to support our clients attain improved health outcomes and achieve their personalised treatment goals.
