Are we talking to you?

We’re a proud Welsh organisation with a Head Office in Cardiff city centre.  As Wales’ leading cancer charity we support over 10% of people diagnosed with cancer each year and our ambition is to be there for many more.

We care, give hope and help people cope through our services across Welsh communities. It is only through the donations and fundraising from our fabulous supporters we can make this happen. And, its really important we look after our relationship with them well so they feel appreciated and communicated with properly every step of the way and our processes efficient to make sure we do this effectively.

So, if you’ve got strong customer and supporter experience and are a people manager who cares about our cause like US we’re on the same page. Looking for a fresh challenge in a place that’s going somewhere you’ll be an important part of our Income Generation Team which generates over £2.3million each year. Your skills and experience will mean that you’re not only making sure we build long lasting relationships with our supporters but you’re making sure they have a great time too.

Our fundraising processes and service delivery must be second to none. So, you’ll work alongside our Fundraising Managers to keep things running smooth and lead on the admin side of things. And, you’ll be well supported day to day by our Head of Fundraising and managed by our Senior Business Administration Manager every step of the way to help you be responsible for the Income Generation Administration Team as we look to grow our income.

What it means is you’re a key player to make sure funds we raise keep coming in and we’re using our administration and database systems to do this really well. That means we can generate more income to help more people affected by cancer across Wales today, tomorrow and beyond.

It’s going to be a busy role making sure the Income Generation Team have everything they need, and people you manage are positively encouraged and proactively developed. You’ll also be running and looking at reports and collecting data and running mailings for example. But it’ll be fun and exciting. You’ll be working with a great bunch of people and will get to go out to events and directly to meet our supporters and see our fundraising first hand too as the role develops.

  • You’re good with using IT systems, processes databases (even better if you’ve used a fundraising database such as Raisers Edge before)
