Supporter Communications Specialist
Could you use your skills and experience to create supporter focussed communications which create an emotional connection with supporters and showcase ActionAid’s work?
Are you confident assessing content and writing high quality and creative final copy for both online and offline markets?
If you’ve answered yes to these questions, this role might be perfect for you.
In the UK, ActionAid’s role is to raise funds to support programme work internationally, to motivate and engage our supporters and to influence for change. We are a value driven, forward thinking organisation, focused on achieving long-term change through supporting our partners to make a sustainable difference.
As Supporter Communications Specialist you will create core communications for Child Sponsors. This will include assessing content, providing constructive feedback, and writing high quality and imaginative final copy, ensuring maximum exposure through digital and social media platforms to inspire, retain, and engage existing and new supporters. Working with other UK and international teams you will be able to contribute to the development of other communications and products and deliver an integrated online and offline supporter journey.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience of planning and managing supporter feedback journeys, of creating impactful and engaging offline and online copy for fundraising and marketing, project management, the ability to work with people across continents and cultures, and the ability to build relationships built on trust and credibility.
ActionAid is committed to supporting flexible working. If you would like to discuss flexible working options, including the possibility of a job share for this role, there will be space to do so during the interview process.
We are committed to continually improving the diversity of our workforce and therefore encourage applications from people of colour, the LGBTQI+ community – including the trans community, and those with a disability.
