The USAID Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Hub, within the Bureau of Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI), is seeking to fill the Supervisory General Business Specialist position. The PSE Hub supports USAID to expand and deepen collaboration with the private sector to achieve greater development outcomes.
The Supervisory General Business Specialist will serve as an Agency expert and coordinator in providing intellectual leadership and focus to demonstrate the value of engagement with USAID to key external audiences, increase uptake of evidence-based Private Sector Engagement (PSE) approaches and USAID business models, and de-risk and pilot scalable next-generation models and methods for PSE. The position will establish guidance and tools to strengthen the Agency’s methodological framework for measuring and articulating the value of private sector engagement to key internal and external audiences. Responsibilities will include overseeing and managing a team focused on demonstrating the value of engagement with USAID to key external audiences. The candidate must demonstrate experience managing large, complex teams across diverse sectors, including strategy implementation and change management principles, for an international development organization.
