Full-Time Student Recruitment Officer
Job Description
The UK Student Recruitment team works with schools and colleges in London, the South East, and across the UK, with a focus on post-16 and mature students. As well as delivering talks and workshops both online and in schools and colleges, this role also works on a number of projects for the team. In 21/22, the team’s projects included Goldsmiths Taster Days and Channel Talent (Year 12 master classes delivered online and in-person), the Young Writer Competitions, and GoldNetwork (schools/colleges e-newsletter).
The Student Recruitment Officer also works on a number of large-scale events. This includes representing Goldsmiths at UCAS and UK Uni Search events and supporting the delivery of on-campus and online open days, applicant days, and campus tours.
In addition to planning and delivering events and projects, this role enables you to develop skills and experience in data collection and management, market research and insight, budget management, safeguarding, and training and supervising student ambassadors.
This is an interesting and varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working with young people, teachers and academics. Due to the timings of school and recruitment events, the role holder must be able to work and travel outside normal office hours (early mornings, evenings and at weekends). Occasional overnight stays away from home will also be required.
Salary: £35,861 – £38,846
