Full-Time Strategy and Planning Lead

Are you an experienced Strategy and Planning professional, looking to make an impact in an internationally acclaimed professional membership association?

Our client is now hiring for an experienced Strategy and Planning Lead to join their growing team. This role offers:

–      Permanent/full time contract

–      Starting salary of £67,450 for London-based candidates, and £61,380 for non London-based candidates

–       Benefits package including:

·       Holiday entitlement of 34 days leave per annum (this includes the normal public, bank and internal holidays)

·       35 hours working week, comprising 7 hours per day plus one hour unpaid lunch break

·       Six months’ probation period

·       Notice period: 6 weeks (after completion of your probation period, in which the notice is 2 weeks)

·       Pension contribution from our client of 8% with a requirement for a personal contribution of at least 2%, plus matching of additional voluntary contributions of up to an additional 2%

·       Private healthcare scheme

·       Death in service cover

The Role

The main purpose of this role is developing and managing the progress of our clients’ Strategic and Corporate (Annual) Plans. This includes:

–          Demonstrating experience in using strategic development tools and approaches

–          Extensive and purposeful collaboration with key stakeholders

–          Research, analysis, reporting, and drafting strategy/plan documents

–          Working with people at all levels both across the organisation and externally

Additional responsibilities include:

–          Identifying, tracking, and incorporating insights and trends, both internal and external

–          Managing analysis and evaluation of strategic opportunities and options, and supporting decision-making with good evidence and expert advice

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

–          Advanced analytical and data-centric problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.

–          Strong ability to initiative and independent judgment, anticipate leadership requirements, take decisions accordingly and escalate where required.

–          Discretion, honesty and integrity

–          A collaborative and flexible approach to work and the ability to contribute fully as part of a small, high-performing team.
